On May 21, 2024 the European Union issued (EU) 2024/1355 and (EU) 2024/1342 amending regulation (EC) No 396/2005 as regards to the maximum residue levels for Pesticide in or on certain products.

EU issued (EU) 2024/1355 will apply increased residue levels of Benzovindiflupyr, Chlorantraniliprole, Emamectin, Quinclorac, Spiromesifen and Triflumuron in or on certain products. Specifically MRLs of Chlorantraniliprole in Teas has an increase from 0.05 -> 80 mg/kg, much higher than current. regulations.

It shall apply from 11/06/2024.

EU issued (EU) 2024/1342 will apply changes to the residue levels of Deltamethrin, Metalaxyl, Thiabendazole and Trifloxystrobin in or on certain products.

It shall apply from 11/06/2024.
