On December 20, 2023, Japan issued an amendment regarding the revision of eight pesticides and veterinary drugs in certain food products. The amendment will be implemented immediately upon publication. The change is as follows:
- MRLs in food have been revised for the following 5 substances: Dimethomorph, Fenamiphos, Fluxapyroxad, Ormetoprim, and Prothioconazole.
- MRLs in food have been newly established for the following substance: Cyphenothrin
- MRLs in food have been removed and an uniform limit is applied for the following substances: Clostebol and Tribromsalan.
