On 07/04/2025, the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) issued maximum residue levels (MRLs) for the herbicide Tiafenacil on a variety of agricultural products (40 CFR §180.713).
About Tiafenacil is a new generation of broad-spectrum herbicide, with a fast and effective mechanism of action in the treatment of weeds in the field. It is of particular interest to producers due to its short degradation time and low accumulation in the soil. Therefore, it is necessary to establish specific maximum residue levels for each crop.
